Governor Kate Brown was narrowly re-elected, and while mainly a lemon when it comes to new thinking in education we do see potential opportunities to make some lemonade. She is supportive of more career technical education programs and offering students hands-on learning opportunities that expose them to new technologies, and prepare them for jobs that actually exist and are at times begging for qualified workers. We’ll be ready to help squeeze for that lemonade whenever the Governor is.
