About The Yass Prize:
The Yass Prize for Sustainable, Transformational, Outstanding, and Permissionless education celebrates the country’s education provider that best demonstrates the STOP principles. In addition to the $1 million Yass Prize, the STOP Awards Initiative provides more than $10 million in additional support to honor educators who achieve excellence. The Yass Prize is administered through the Center for Education Reform and works in tandem to ensure exceptional execution of all efforts that advance the STOP principles.
About the role:
The Senior Program Manager serves as grant manager for and the primary liaison with all Yass Prize and STOP Award alumni – developing, sustaining and strengthening relationships for and on behalf of alumni. The ideal candidate will be a proven, critical and analytical thinker, a person who takes initiative but understands how to follow established processes and systems, highly proficient with technology and able to multi-task without effort. The position reports to the Vice President of the Yass Prize.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for STOP alumni, which includes developing, sustaining, and strengthening relationships for and on behalf of the alumni through in-person and online methods.
- Manage, improve and handle in full the STOP Alumni grants process.
- Track progress, promote impact of the work and ensure organizational accountability.
- Promote and manage all social and traditional media outreach related to the STOP alumni, including collaborations, activities, and updates.
- This includes ensuring the team produces alumni updates for STOP properties,
including website and promotional materials. - Leverage STOP alumni to help with application efforts, including serving as panelists, traveling for events, and giving them resources to promote their networks
- Serve as a resource for STOP alumni concerning laws and policies around school choice, charter approval, etc.
- Build a strategic vision around regional STOP collaborations (i.e., “STOP inspiration visits”) that work to connect STOP alumni, promote new and existing collaborations, and serve as inspiration for potential applicants and the benefactors of the foundation.

Qualifications
- Higher education degree required
Previous alumni leadership, philanthropic or foundation experience a plus - Adept at research analysis, processes/system management, and strategic thinking
- Proven record of working under pressure and exhibiting professional discretion.
- Strong background in project management, event organization and execution
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range - $100,000 - $145,000 depending on experience.
